Sleazy strip club owner Chaz Wellington Smith III is at it again with an all-male revue called the Cheeky Monkey, catering to girls’ nights out and bachelorette parties. Recently, his new venture has been plagued with annoying pranks that have turned costly, and of course, private eye Delanie Fitzgerald is the one he calls to find out who is center stage for all the mayhem.

“A fun read with a feisty detective. Highly recommend!”
K. L. Murphy, Author of the Detective Cancini Mysteries

Praise for Glitter, Glam, and Contraband
“Book no. 3 in the Delanie Fitzgerald series didn’t disappoint! The entire series is fun and easy to get sucked into. Delanie always pulls through and solves the mysteries. (I love there’s one or two big cases that take the majority of the novel to solve, along with some smaller cases that wrap up quickly.) Also, Chaz is absolutely my favorite secondary character! I’m looking forward to more of his hijinks and Delanie sleuthing in the upcoming fourth book!”

Heather Weidner recently spent some time with The Big Thrill discussing her latest thriller, MALE REVUES AND SUBTERFUGE.

What attracts you to this book’s genre?
I have loved mysteries since Scooby-Doo and Nancy Drew. It was the perfect fit.

Heather Weidner

Was there anything new you discovered or that surprised you as you wrote this book?
This is my fourth book in the Delanie Fitzgerald series. I’m so excited to see how much she has grown as a character. By Book Four, she is confident about her career and life choices. She, Duncan, and Chaz are fun characters to write about.

No spoilers, but what can you tell us about your book that we won’t find in the jacket copy or the PR material?
Delanie Fitzgerald has a solid reputation as a private investigator, but this case has really stumped her. There are no concrete clues to the culprit. She has to use all her strengths to put all the disparate clues together.
