From the glamour of Hollywood to the brink of the Atomic Age, Albert Einstein and Charlie Chaplin must outwit Nazi assassins racing toward a deadly rendezvous aboard the Santa Fe Super Chief.

Two legends, one midnight train, and a deadly race into the gathering storm.

It’s 1940. Europe is in flames. Germany occupies much of the continent, and the Blitz rains terror on London. The Reich wants Einstein alive and Chaplin dead. Fritz Duquesne, a ruthless German spy pulled from the history books, has a mission that could change the course of history: kidnap Albert Einstein and deliver him to Berlin to spearhead the Reich’s atomic program. But the abduction is only half the conspiracy. Enraged by Charlie Chaplin’s mockery in The Great Dictator, Hitler dispatches an SS assassin to silence the man who turned laughter into a weapon. Into the widening conspiracy step Charles Lindbergh, Lena Horne, and J. Robert Oppenheimer—along with a bewitching German agent with a mission of her own. With Nazi agents and FBI operatives closing in, the chase barrels across America toward a deadly showdown aboard the luxury streamliner, the Santa Fe Super Chief.
