The first novella in the Ande Ryan series has the fae witch pitted against a powerful wizard as she tries to save the world with the help of a six foot elf, a three foot pixie and a were wolf. Did I mention the demon?

Half fae/half witch, Ande Ryan’s deepest desires are simple: a stress-free, fun evening with a nice guy, to earn the respect of her peers in the Paranormal Investigation Unit, and at long last, learn to use her Goddess given fae magic.

Instead, she fights a demon, gets mugged by a pixie, meets her soul mate and oh yeah, has to try and defeat a wizard with the help of a six-foot elf and a wolf—Cal Masterson.

Cal had no idea that his first encounter with Ande Ryan would include a fight with a demon or an intense attraction to the red-haired fairy who displays as much courage and determination as any wolf in his pack. Will Cal overcome his need to protect her as they both fight the odds and allow her fulfill her destiny?

Review-Amazon
As there were no reviews on this ebook, I was not expecting much. I was actually very pleasantly surprised. This was a quick read, with lots of action and intrigue. In fact, I was up all night, because I could not put it down. It was that engrossing. I would put this writer right up there with some of the better urban fantasy romance writers. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

I write Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Mysteries. There are three books in the Tali Cates mystery series that features a small town, Love, Texas, Tali Cates and her family, along with various and assorted spirit guides, ghosts, witches, were wolves and vampires. The people in this tiny, Texas town must face the reality that the monster under the bed is real. The first book in the series, “Privy to Murder”, features a murder in the outhouse and a very angry ghost. In “Bloody Murder”, book 2, things heat up when a new man comes to town. Tali’s son thinks he’s a vampire, but that’s impossible…or is it. “Museums are Murder” is a short Tali mystery.

I also write Urban Fantasy, “Fairy Dust”, introduces Ande Ryan, half fairy, half witch, all woman, who joins her friends to fight off a wizard. Join Carol and the crew at http://carol-carolsinkspot.blogspot.com or www.carolshenold.com.

I live and work in Oklahoma City with my daughter, two cats and a spoiled dog. I work full time in the nursing profession as well as write, paint portraits and play the hammered dulcimer. I love to read Urban Fantasy but lately I’ve been hooked on post apocalyptic zombie and vampire books.
